    Liberty Springs Campsite

    This campsite is high on the Liberty Springs trail, 3.2 miles from the parking area and just .3 miles from the Franconia Ridge. There are 7 single and 3 double tent platforms, a spring, and a view area. From the rocks you can watch the sun set over Moosilauke and the Kinsmans.

    The Appalachian Trail runs right through the tent site. A caretaker is there during the summer months and a fee is charged. The site is maintained by the AMC on a first come basis. Just above the tentsite is Mt Liberty.
