South and North Twin from Twin Mountain

    North Twin - 4761'

    To reach the North Twin trailhead take NH Rt 302 to Haystack Rd (FR 304) along the Little River. The trail runs 4.3 miles to the summit which is wooded, but some ledges afford nice views. The summit can also be reached by the North Twin Spur trail from the summit of South Twin.

    From the summit of South Twin you can get to Galehead Hut to the west and Zealand Hut further east via the Twinway.
