Sawyer Pond Shelter
Sawyer Pond Campsite
On the shores of Sawyer Pond is an eight person shelter 5 tent platforms, some of them double. The easiest approach to the campsite is along the Sawyer Pond trail from the Sawyer River road. From that trailhead, it's a fairly easy 1.5 mile trip with only 350' of elevation gain. There tent platforms are indicated by number signs on the trees as you go from the Sawyer Pond trail to the shelter. The shelter is right on the pond, with a fire ring and an outhouse.
Use is first come first served and there is a no fee.
